"It is rare in the Times Literary Supplement office
for a single book to be so singularly compelling
that everyone who passes by has to stop to look
."

This was the first sentence of the TLS editors general article in October 2010. He was praising A Life In Pictures by Alasdair Gray, a 316 page book just published by Canongate.
This has since been a critical and popular success in both the hardback and paperback editions.

Gray's close friend, Angela Mullane, has paid for making a leather-bound edition of this book, with new endpapers, limited to a hundred copies each individually signed and numbered by the author, in a special slipcase also designed by Alasdair Gray.

She is selling these collectors items for £500 each, all money from the sale going to SAVE SMALL TRIBES TRUST, a registered charity Ms Mullane created to relieve indigenous South American tribes threatened with extinction through ecological exploitation.

The cost of this limited editon of
A Life in Pictures is
£500
