Across Greater Govan workshops are being run with groups of young people to create short films which will premiere at the IMAX cinema as part of this year's Govan Gathering Light.

A glamorous red carpet parade starts off the evening, followed by a mix of outdoor screenings, live performances and photo oppportunities with our special guest star.

Look out for the new permanent light artwork at Kinning Park, Elder Park and on Govan Road.

Govan Gathering Light is a partnership project run by Roots in the Community, Plantation Productions and Scotland in Europe, working with community facilities and local schools.
