Maggie turned the carpet and pointed it at the moon which had grown even bigger than before.
It seemed to fill the whole sky. She leaned forwards and flew towards it. It did not take long before she could see right down into one of the craters.
She straightened up but she was going so fast she felt like she was going to crash into the Moon! Frightened, she tried to slow the carpet down.
She closed her eyes tight and leaned right back till her head was almost touching the carpet behind her. Suddenly, the carpet stopped.
Maggie opened her eyes and, looking down, discovered she was floating just two feet above the moon's surface.
All the birds were hovering above her watching her and wondering what she would do.
